DIRECTIONS TO LIVE OAK HUNTING LODGE
From Abilene:
From I-20, take exit 284, US Hwy 277, South.
These are two highways merged, so watch the
signs and be ready to exit right in a couple
of miles to follow Hwy 277 South. Continue
on 277 to San Angelo. Follow 277 through
town and continue South. Approximately 35
miles, you will cross Meador Draw, a dry
creek bed. The first gate on the right just
past Meador Draw is ours. The side gate will
read SKML Ranch from this direction. Go
through the gate and follow the ranch road
about a mile and a half to the lodge.
From San Angelo
Airport:
Exit Airport. Take left on Knickerbocker
Road(RM-584). Follow until it comes to US
Highway 277. Take right on US 277. Follow
approximately 25 miles until you come to
Meador Draw, a dry creek bed. The first gate
on the right just past Meador Draw is ours.
The side gate will read SKML Ranch from this
direction. Go through the gate and follow
the ranch road about a mile and a half to
the lodge.
From Sonora:
From I-10, take exit 400, US Hwy 277, North.
Continue 20 miles North to Eldorado. As you
pass through Eldorado, you will pass a Shell
station on your left. From this station, it
is approximately 7.5 miles farther on the
277 to the gate. From this direction, the
sign on the gate will read Sarah K. Meador.
(Gate is on left) If you cross Meador Draw,
you have gone too far.
