Trophy Hunts

Live Oak Hunting Lodge is proud to offer a NEW hunting opportunity for our customers.

In 2006 we began the process of game fencing 1900 acres of our finest deer hunting in order to provide our hunters that were looking to harvest a larger whitetail the opportunity to do so in as close to "fair chase" conditions as possible.

This isn't a "5 star, pamper you with foot massages, canned hunt". This is a long term commitment to improving the habitat, genetics, and age structure of our deer herd. As with all of our hunts, our pricing structure is focused towards the "once in a lifetime" hunter. We want each and every hunter to have their best hunting experience ever here so we can share it with them.

The hunts are guided one on one unless other wise requested (i.e. father and son or husband and wife) and the guide will determine the maturity of the deer.

These hunts are limited to 1 or 2 people at a time right now to give each and every hunter the opportunity to harvest the best buck possible. Trophy hunts are available for rifle or archery hunters on any 3 or 4 consecutive days from October 1st through the end of February.

During the Texas general firearms season, November 7- January 3, these hunts will be booked in conjunction with our regular hunts. For more information on booking or available dates please contact Steven via email or phone.

Up to 150 $3,900.00

150-170 $5,500.00

170-190 $7,750.00

190-200 $9,000.00

Over 200 $10,000.00 plus $100 per inch for each inch over 200 gross B&C

We require a deposit of $1,300 for Management Hunts and $2,500 on all other Trophy Hunts, some exceptions will apply. The remaining balance incurred upon the harvest of an animal will be paid prior to the hunter leaving the ranch.

Each hunter and guide will have several blind setups to choose from prior to each hunt or they can "stay put" if they have a muy grande buck spotted. The hunting is mainly out of spacious 5'x8' heated blinds overlooking feeders and travel routes or if the hunter and guide chooses they can try their hand at rattling or stalking.

Remember, this is not a guaranteed hunt; you may go home empty handed. Our staff will do everything in its power to ensure that doesn't happen, that's what the Live Oak reputation has been built on.
